Exhibition by German company of proposed new waste disposal plants in Ernesettle & Devonport, Plymouth

Proposing Waste Solutions for South West Devon Waste Partnership

South West Devon Waste Partnership is currently asking waste companies to bid for its waste disposal contract.

MVV Umwelt is one of the companies shortlisted for the contract. The company is proposing two possible sites for an Energy from Waste plant: one at Ernesettle and the other at North Yard, Devonport. The plant will deal with waste that cannot be recycled to save it going to landfill and to generate useable energy from it.

Two exhibitions are being held to give local people a chance to view the initial proposals and give their comments. Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions. Exhibition dates:
* Monday 8th February, Parkway Sports and Social Club, Ernesettle Lane, Plymouth PL5 2EY, 4pm – 8pm
* Tuesday 9th February, Weston Mill Community Primary School, Ferndale Road, Plymouth PL2 2EL, 5.00 – 8.30pm
