GE Circular January 2006
Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to have to tell you all that the Feb/March issue of Green Events
- S. Devon has had to be cancelled this year - for health reasons. We
are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our public and all
the advertisers who rely on our services, and we will do our best to minimise
these effects wherever possible.
My partner, Abhi, known to many of you over the phone and who's dedicated
services are essential to the successful running of Green Events - has
just been given a long awaited kidney transplant! All is going reasonably
well so far, and the team at Derriford Hospital have been fantastic. She
insists that the next issue of Green Events can go ahead as usual, but
I think this will have to be carefully monitored and will give you further
confirmation nearer our next copy deadline (March 7th)
In the mean time I can recommend you use our web site to advertise your
activities. www.greenevents.co.uk Here all our core services are completely
free, and you can add the information yourselves by filling in our on-line
forms. A new updated version will soon be ready, any details you add now
will automatically be included in the new version also.
When Abhi returns from hospital - hopefully in a week or so's time - we
will be able to answer any questions you may have or settle any outstanding
financial matters. So please feel free to call us or contact by e-mail,
and we will reply as soon as we are able.
I hope you will join with me in wishing Abhi a speedy recovery and return
to her full health and vigour.
Regular up-dates will be posted on the new website, from early Feb.
Once again, our apologies for any inconvenience.
With Best Wishes to you all
Tom (aka Achintya)
